I'm here to share a terrible online shopping experience, hoping my story serves as a warning. My latest order with GlassesUSA was a complete disaster, leaving me convinced this company is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers, a fraud ripping off customers for services they charge for and do NOT provide. I paid a $19.95 "next day delivery" fee, only to receive an email hours later stating my order would take 3 business days. This blatant misrepresentation and the subsequent frustration with their entirely automated customer service forced me to try and reach a human for a refund, which was an ordeal in itself.
Customer: I paid for next-day delivery, and your website promised it, but my order email says it will take three business days. I want a refund for the $19.95 delivery fee. CS Rep: I understand your frustration with the delivery timeline, sir. Let me look into your order details right away. Customer: This is unacceptable. Your site clearly said "eligible for next day delivery," and now I'm being told it'll take days, with no real explanation, especially since these are Plano lenses with no prescription! CS Rep: I apologize for the discrepancy and the confusion this has caused. I see the charge for expedited shipping. I'm submitting a request to our billing department immediately to process that refund for you. You should see it reflected within 3-5 business days. Customer: So, I'm not getting the next-day delivery I paid for, and I have to wait even longer for my money back? This entire process has been incredibly misleading.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
