Online Glasses Order Nightmare: Broken Promises & Unhelpful CS! 😤💔


My recent online shopping experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my story as a warning to others. I ordered glasses on May 4th and was explicitly assured they would be finished by May 11th. It's now May 26th, and all I've received are endless emails apologizing for the delay. The complete lack of progress and the broken promises pushed me to try and get some answers. My direct feeling and conclusion after all this is that I tried multiple times to call customer service and finally spoke to someone in India who was absolutely no help at all.

Customer: Hi, I'm calling about my order, number 12345. I placed it on May 4th, and I was guaranteed it would be finished by May 11th. It's May 26th, and I'm still getting delay emails. What's going on? CS Rep: I understand your frustration with the delay, sir/ma'am. I see your order is still processing. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience; there was an unforeseen issue in our lab, which has caused a backlog. Customer: An unforeseen issue? I've been getting those same apology emails for weeks! When will my glasses actually ship? I was assured May 11th, and I need them. CS Rep: I completely understand your urgency. Currently, our system shows an estimated completion date of June 5th. We are working diligently to expedite all delayed orders. Customer: June 5th? That's almost a month after the original promised date! This is absolutely unacceptable. What can you do for me right now? Because honestly, this is absolutely no help at all.

The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap of broken promises and unhelpful customer service.
